The Cowichan Valley Breakers Make A Splash at the 2024 Island Regional Swim Meet

The Cowichan Valley Breakers made a notable splash at the BCSSA Vancouver Island Regional Championships held at the Saanich Commonwealth Pool over the August long weekend. The young athletes showcased their prowess and dedication, vying for spots in the Provincial Championships.
With 27 swimmers representing the team, the Breakers emerged with an impressive 20 medals across various divisions, signalling a strong presence in Vancouver Island's competitive summer swimming community. Coaches included: Lily Heugh, Jessica De Verteuil, Lucy Heugh, and Iyshana Dusanj.
